The St. Regis Dubai, The Palm
This hotel on the Palm Jumeirah brings a touch of New York-style elegance to Dubai’s most affluent districts. Three categories of its 290 rooms and suites each include floor-to-ceiling windows that showcase views of The Palm’s fronds and the city skyline.

Fairmont the Palm, Dubai
The Fairmont debuted in 2012 and is located on the infamous Palm in Dubai. It has remained a well-liked option for all guests who want a taste of Dubai luxury, thanks to its spectacular beach and spacious rooms with views.
The rooms are modern and spotless, with espresso machines and 40-inch TVs. There isn’t much decoration in the rooms, just a bit of Arabian latticework and a few splashes of blue.
Palace Downtown
Its exquisite archways, palm-lined pathways, thoughtful reflecting pools, and rose petal adorned lobby Palace Downtown, opposite the Burj Khalifa, immediately conjure images of a Moroccan riad. Inlaid tables, lamps, and keyhole doorways are just a few of the Arabian-inspired details in public areas.
The Dubai Mall is nearby, and with beautiful views of the fountains and Burj Khalifa the location also draws people here. Rooms are equipped with a coffee maker, full-length mirror, and ironing board. The beds are quite comfy, complemented with pillow menus. The room service is fast and impressive.
Anantara World Islands Dubai Resort
The World Islands’ first resort is located here. There is nothing else like it. With the hotel’s easy access to Dubai and its expansive perspective of the skyline, it feels like a tropical getaway.
From Anantara the Palm, a 15-minute speedboat journey over open water feels like a true escape, and just as you start to feel like you’re on vacation, you dock on a slip of island dotted with palm trees and cottages with thatched roofs.
You feel like you’re far from Dubai, but when you look back, a stunning view of Burj Al Arab and Burj Khalifa reminds you that you’re still in the city’s vicinity. It’s arguably the best site in the whole artificial archipelago. The exotic location has 70 rooms, a bar, gym, pool, and spa.
Jumeirah Al Qasr at Madinat Jumeirah
It is a lavish Arabian castle with palm tree-lined walkways, elaborate gold and black marble columns, and carved latticework. Al Qasr amplifies the opulent atmosphere.
The 294 rooms and suites of the resort are all decorated with carved wood furniture, latticework, and tasseled drapery in line with the resort’s overall motif of Persian palace living. The Arabian Sea, or one of the resort’s many rivers, is visible from the furnished balconies of the rooms.
Although Al Qasr has one of the biggest pools in the area, you shouldn’t overlook the resort’s mile-long private beach. There are more than 40 pubs and restaurants available to visitors.
Palazzo Versace Dubai
While Premier Rooms look out over Dubai Creek, Deluxe Versace Rooms feature views of the nearby Culture Village. Both are a welcome change from the sea of neutrals that permeates many other hotels in Dubai, with patterned linens in shades of turquoise or salmon, marble-topped Versace furniture, and highly polished wood floors.
You can adjust the lights and curtains with a button thanks to a high-tech control panel positioned next to the bed. The Roman architecture bathrooms have tile mosaic and Carrara marble inlays on the walls and floors. Versace-branded toiletries are available too.
The Versace spa is just as opulent as you would anticipate, especially one of the gorgeous spa pools that shine behind a mosaic of vivid blue tile. For the best jazz around, you absolutely must visit Q’s Bar.
